When it comes to wedding photography, and actually my photography in general I prefer equipment that is very portable due to my constant "on the go" style and easy to use. I don't like to be bothered with anything that's too complicated because I want to be able to move quickly and catch the moment with my clients. With this all in mind I also want to create shots that will grab the attention of future clients and something special for my current clients.
This is why I LOVE the Interfit S1's! When I first got my hands on the backpack kit I was so impressed because 2 of these little powerhouses fit into the backpack and everything I need is right there! With their portable, lightweight design (which includes the cordless battery that's packed right inside the light itself!) even I can lift and carry them on a short hike or to a remote wedding location. Now I don't have a ton of off camera lighting experience, and I've still got so much to learn. With a little help from my friends The Chopstick Guys (check out their YouTube channel) I was able to learn high speed sync which is the beauty of using the S1's. I can now with confidence take these lights out and create great images right in the middle of the wedding day. I don't often get to choose when a ceremony is going to take place or the best lighting for the couple's wedding portraits. Now with the S1's I've got the power to get those shots in any situation.
I'm excited to share some more adventures that are coming up where I'll be taking the S1's along with me. Follow along to see what we shoot next!
