When it comes to wedding photography, and actually my photography in general I prefer equipment that is very portable due to my constant "on the go" style and easy to use. I don't like to be bothered with anything that's too complicated because I want to be able to move quickly and catch the moment with my clients. With this all in mind I also want to create shots that will grab the attention of future clients and something special for my current clients.
This is why I LOVE the Interfit S1's! When I first got my hands on the backpack kit I was so impressed because 2 of these little powerhouses fit into the backpack and everything I need is right there! With their portable, lightweight design (which includes the cordless battery that's packed right inside the light itself!) even I can lift and carry them on a short hike or to a remote wedding location. Now I don't have a ton of off camera lighting experience, and I've still got so much to learn. With a little help from my friends The Chopstick Guys (check out their YouTube channel) I was able to learn high speed sync which is the beauty of using the S1's. I can now with confidence take these lights out and create great images right in the middle of the wedding day. I don't often get to choose when a ceremony is going to take place or the best lighting for the couple's wedding portraits. Now with the S1's I've got the power to get those shots in any situation.
I'm excited to share some more adventures that are coming up where I'll be taking the S1's along with me. Follow along to see what we shoot next!

In a perfectly pink and gold spring wedding at Ironstone Vineyards two of my favorite families became family! Monica and Cody had sweet personal touches throughout their wedding day. Everything about the day was elegant and first class! The staff at Ironstone always offer the best guest service with their kindness and attention to detail.
Congratulations Monica and Cody! And a big Thank you to Ironstone Vineyards for their hospitality. I look forward to photographing many more weddings at your venue!

One of our favorite winter Union Hill Inn weddings! Skye and Jason chose January 21, 2017 to celebrate their love story with family and friends. We were blessed that the big winter storm was past early that morning and it was a perfect day!
Accents of blue representing Jason's devotion for his law enforcement career were scattered throughout in details and sweet sentiments.

In a beautiful and oh so sweet fairytale Motherlode Ranch wedding Maurice and Yvonne got hitched! All the perfect touches were brought together with shades of pink and plenty of glitter! Florals were created by Sweet Lilacs Studio, my favorite being the sunflower detail down the ceremony center aisle! The best moment of the day was the Cinderella style carriage that brought Yvonne in to the ceremony site! So romantic!

Congratulations Maurice & Yvonne! Thank you for the honor of photographing your wedding day and sharing in your celebration!

My Summerville High Model team would not be complete without the bubbly Miss Hopey! Hope and I met through Danika and when I saw that smile and those eyes I just knew I had to photograph her. Her casual boho style added so much to the shoot and just being around her makes you smile. Hope is another one of those super involved, over achiever kids that everyone loves to hang out with. Hope's hair and makeup were by Jessica Alger.

Thank you Hope for being such a fabulous member of the model team. I'm looking forward to our future photo shoots and getting out of town for some adventures!
